About the Alfa Romeo Junior (2024)
Independent spec and rating reference. No offers, no sales.
The Junior is the smallest model in the Alfa Romeo range (2024), positioned below the Tonale. The model was briefly called Milano at launch, the name was changed to Junior at the request of the Italian government because the car is built in Poland. The Elettrica is the EV variant: 54 kWh net battery, 156 hp, about 410 km WLTP range (manufacturer figure, not measured by us). DC charging goes up to about 100 kW. Alongside that is the Ibrida 136 with a 1.2 PureTech three-cylinder and a 48V mild-hybrid system. The platform (e-CMP) is shared with the Peugeot e-2008, the Opel Mokka-e and the Jeep Avenger.
In practice
WLTP consumption for the EV is around 15.5 kWh/100km (manufacturer figure). Real-world figures for this model year are still scarce; related Stellantis e-CMP EVs run roughly 1 to 2 kWh/100km above WLTP in mixed use (public forums, not measured by us, related models). The 400 l boot is good for the segment. Braked towing weight is zero on the EV. The indicative list price stands at 39,500 euro for the EV entry version, a starting price, not an offer and not a forecast.
Points to note
Equipment differs strongly per trim, the Veloce variant has stiffer setup and other tyres; check spec exactly at the official dealer. The model is too new for a representative breakdown statistic, which is why the reliability score is set to insufficient data instead of a guess. The PureTech three-cylinder in the Ibrida had timing-belt discussion in older generations, the latest evolution moved to a chain on most variants, verify per build year.
