Who runs it

Not a newsroom. One person curates the data, the ratings and the tooling. Specs come from official datasheets and open registers; where a figure is an estimate, the source says so.

Why this site exists

Factory figures lean optimistic. Marketplaces sell. autoseeker does neither. The figures sit next to each other with source and reference date, and the judgement is yours. No listings, no sales forms, no "best for you" line.

How it stays independent

Revenue is advertising and non-financial affiliate only (see transparency). Advertisers see no scores in advance and cannot change a rating. The public methodology explains exactly how every figure is produced.

Colophon: responsible publisher

autoseeker is published by Dennis de Kruijf. One maker and owner, for all markets and language versions. The same person is responsible for the content (specs, ratings, guides, review moderation).

Report a spec or figure that is wrong

Report it with a source through the correction form or by email. We test the report against the highest available source, per the methodology. Safety-critical fields (towing weight, payload, recall status) are corrected with priority.

Report unlawful content (DSA notice-and-action)

Owner reviews are user-supplied content. If a review contains unlawful, abusive, infringing or person-identifiable content, you can report it. Email contact@autoseeker.eu with:

• the exact URL of the page;
• the relevant passage or quote;
• the reason you consider the content unlawful;
• a way to reach you for the response.

We assess every report, remove or adjust where justified, and report the outcome back with a short explanation. Reviews are moderated before publication (see the review policy). If you disagree with a decision, say so by email; we reconsider.

Liability and indicative use

Specs, prices and category ratings are indicative and traceable to their source with a reference date. They can age or differ per version. We give no tax, financial or buying advice, sell nothing and do not act as an intermediary. For a decision, consult the official source (manufacturer, RDW/KBA, the tax authority) and, if needed, an independent adviser.
