About the SEAT Ibiza (6F facelift, 1.0 TSI)
Independent spec and rating reference. No offers, no sales.
The Ibiza (6F) has been on the market since 2017, with a facelift in 2021, and sits on the MQB-A0 platform. Sister models are the Volkswagen Polo and the Audi A1 Sportback; technical kinship is large. The 1.0 TSI three-cylinder petrol is available with 95 or 115 hp; below it sits a 1.0 MPI without turbo, above it briefly a 1.5 TSI.
In practice
WLTP figure for the 1.0 TSI 95 is around 5.5 l/100km (manufacturer figure, not measured by us). In mixed use owners report 6-7 l/100km (owner forums, not measured by us); short city trips run higher. Braked towing weight is 1,100 kg, enough for a light trailer. Boot 355 l, above the segment average. The indicative starting price rose from about 21,500 euro (reference date early 2024) to 22,950 euro now, a starting price, not an offer and not a forecast.
Points to note
The technical kinship with the Polo and A1 is large; the price difference sits mainly in finish, brand position and standard equipment, not in the drivetrain. The infotainment is on an older generation than the Leon and the Arona; check on a test drive at the official dealer how it feels. The Tarraco-style screen-only operation is absent here, that is to many owners a plus (owner reports, not tested by us).
