Skoda Kodiaq

Second-generation seven-seat SUV on the MQB-evo platform. Strong points are the braked towing weight (2,000 kg) and the optional third seat row. The 2.0 TDI returns WLTP 5.7 l/100km; owners report 6-7 l/100km in practice (public forums, not measured by us). Boot 340 l with the third row folded and in use, considerably more with that row folded down (manufacturer figure).

Fourth-generation Superb on the VW Group MQB platform, shared with the new Passat. Strong points are the huge boot (690 l Combi) and the braked towing weight (2,000 kg). The 1.5 TSI mHEV delivers 150 hp with cylinder deactivation and a 48V mild-hybrid and returns WLTP 5.9 l/100km.
