Hyundai Inster

Compact A-segment EV on a new dedicated platform, on sale in the EU since early 2025. Two battery options: Standard Range 42 kWh (about 300 km WLTP) and Long Range 49 kWh (about 355 km WLTP, manufacturer figure). DC charging up to about 120 kW; 10-80% takes around 30 minutes per Hyundai (manufacturer figure, not measured by us). Four seats as standard, 351 l boot, V2L on board. Indicative from-price for the Netherlands; check the official configurator for the current figure.

Volkswagen's entry EV on the MEB Entry platform, in production since June 2026 in Pamplona, Spain. Five-door B-segment hatchback with front-wheel drive. The specs above belong to the 155 kW version with 51.7 kWh net battery: WLTP up to 454 km, DC charging up to 105 kW and 10-80% in 24 minutes (manufacturer figure, indicative). Boot 441 litres, braked towing weight 1,200 kg. The indicative Dutch starting price is 24,990 euro and applies to the 37 kWh entry version with up to 329 km WLTP, so not to the 51.7 kWh version listed here. A starting price, not an offer.
