Opel Frontera

Subcompact SUV (B-segment) on the Stellantis Smart Car platform, on sale in Europe from 2024. The hybrid entry is the 1.2 Turbo 48V Hybrid 100 hp (74 kW) with a 21 kW e-motor and an electrified six-speed dual clutch; WLTP around 5.5 l/100km (manufacturer figure, indicative). Alongside it there is a fully electric Frontera Electric (44.2 kWh, 83 kW, 100 kW DC) from around 28,990 euro. Length 4.39 m. Indicative starting price, check the official configurator.

Peugeot 2008

Compact crossover by Peugeot, on the same platform as the Peugeot 208 and the Opel Mokka (Stellantis CMP). The common petrol engine is the 1.2 PureTech three-cylinder turbo with 130 hp; below it sits a 100 hp version. The 2023 facelift mainly renewed the front and the interior not the powertrain. WLTP consumption around 5.9 l/100km (manufacturer figure indicative); owners report closer to 6.5-7 l/100km in mixed use (public forums not measured by us). Boot 434 l.
